Studio Offerings

A working ceramic space in Panjim, Goa. CLAYKIND is a shared studio for potters, learners, and anyone seeking time with clay in a quiet, supportive environment. The studio offers firings, workshops, memberships, and access to a small material library — shaped by daily studio practice.

Firing Services

Skutt electric kiln

Kiln internal size: 21 × 18 inches (18 inches in height). Firing is calculated per shelf.

Rates
  • Bisque: ₹900 per shelf
  • Glaze: ₹1200 per shelf
  • 3–3.5 shelves per kiln load (approx.)
  • Oversized pieces priced by space occupied

Intended for potters who need reliable kiln access without maintaining a kiln of their own.

Workshops

Learn

Two formats designed for different levels of engagement with clay.

One-day workshop
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Fee: ₹2000
  • Includes making, firing, final pickup
  • Suited for absolute beginners
Extended learning workshop :  ₹15000
  • 📅10 studio days within one month
  • Includes 2 dedicated glazing days
  • Plan designed around your learning goals
  • Slower, deeper engagement with practice

To join, participants are invited to contact the studio directly so the learning plan can be shaped around them.

Studio Memberships

For independent potters who do not require regular teaching, but need access to space and firing.

Each monthly membership includes
  • Shared studio workspace
  • Fee :  Rs. 10000
  • One full kiln load within the month : bisque & glaze
  • Access to wheel, slab roller & tools

Additional firings beyond the included kiln load are charged separately. Members may also purchase specialised materials and glazes from the CLAYKIND material library.

Material Library

Materials

A small, evolving library of clay bodies, glazes, and ceramic materials tested through daily use in the Panjim studio.

Potters are welcome to
  • Visit and view materials in person
  • Purchase for studio or home use
  • Arrange shipping across India
  • Selection stays intentionally limited
